In the last of our Folk Medicine Friday series, we will learn all about different varieties of sage - exploring the culinary, spiritual, and medicinal aspects of this amazing plant.
We will also make our own smudge sticks - using local plants to craft our own medicine wands. We will discuss cultural respect, protecting overharvested plants, and explore the history of charring aromatic herbs.

Rain or shine, we will go for a local plant walk to identify medicinal plants growing right here in the Hudson Valley.
